We Will Never Forget!!!

On September the 11th 2001, I stood eating a turkey sauage sandwhich attempting to snatch a few moments of the News. Suddenly Charlie Gibson screamed out in horror, "That was no accident, a second plane has slammed into the other World Trade Tower." One hour latter, I was still standing with that half eaten sandwhich. Within two weeks, I was in the VA Physchatric Dept. -because I was back in Vietnam.

Durring the last two weeks I had been

constantly reliving intensified events. FLASHBACKS.

It maybe a bit too painful to watch, however, here is a tribute to 9.11.2001 ...--- ...

It's 4:22 AM-CST and I can't sleep. Partly due to the nervous anticipation of a pending book release, then too, I haven't had an uninterrupted nights sleep in almost 40 years. Except when I slept inside various bottles, seeking shelter from the night sweats, and the painful memories etched on the walls of my mind. Yes Sir-Ree- Buffalo Bill/Bob---I was Self-Medicating myself in order to hide from those Nightmares, the Frequent Recurring Flashbacks with Vivid Intrusive Thoughts that have plagued me since those days when I was a dutiful classmate of The Republic of South Vietnam 1966-1967.

Forty years later and "I Can Still Hear Their Cries, Even In My Sleep."
